You now have CDL but no experience and need a job? So, how do you become an owner operator and make money in trucking if you have no experience? Start by learning all you can learn about the Industry. Being a successful Truck Driver or Owner-Operator takes a business mindset. I was looking for some information on the web when I found several videos in regard to the questions New Drivers’ should ask Trucking Company Recruiters’ from three points of view. A two new drivers just out of school, and one “Old Timer”. I do believe that they have some good questions that as a New Driver you should think about, and some that new drivers may not have thought about to ask a Company’s or even themselves when considering the Trucking Industry.

Truck Driver Websites 07/05/16: Max Heine, Overdrive Editorial Director, gives a good introduction to succeeding as an Owner-Operator. It is important to look at it as a Business and the big picture; and have some specific goals along with continuously learning from seminars, truck shows, other drivers, and owner-operators.
