As A trucker, How many times have you lived this? You make the safe moves for what is in front of you and the people behind you that can not see through your truck teach you a lesson by brake checking you or trying to run you off the road. Just another example of truckers paying the price for doing the safe thing.

Simple Truth, HeadTrucker.com is here because as an operator I was often I am asked, just what exactly motivates me to work as I do toward safety in the trucking industry. I always answer back with a story about having to drive on three, crushed disc in my back. Yes, that certainty was the reason back years ago that I got involved in trucking issues and began working toward truckers to be able to run safe and legal without reprisal.
Simple truth, after I tell that story I always regret that I did not answer with a different story, a different reason that pushes me even to this day. That scream I heard so long ago that I still hear today in my mind. I have to be honest about this, even as hard as it is for me to live with, others have to live with it every day to. You see, I said nothing and because of that, I watched a whole family die as a big truck crushed their car while tailgating them through a construction zone. That scream came from the one little girl that survived as she looked over and seen her mom.
Needless deaths on the highway at the hands of reckless drivers, is something we can all take part in stopping. It does not matter, what we drive, or what they drive, car or truck. Together, we can stand up, speak out, and make a difference. Amen
At Headtrucker.com we believe in standing behind those drivers that insist on trucking safe and legal. We want the world to know that there are many truckers out there that have the same concerns out on that highway as anyone else does. So from a mom with a car full of kids to the Police Officer just doing their jobs to your loved ones, you know Grand Pa Joe or little Jenny who just received her drivers licence yesterday, we as professional truck drivers want to keep everybody we share that highway with just as safe as we possibly can.
Long gone are the days portrayed in the old trucker movies where drivers were depicted as speed demons doing incredible stunts to move their trucks and loads across the country. Those old movies sure were fun to watch but in today’s world, not even considered close to what reality in the trucking industry really is.
Today’s trucker stand firm when it comes to keeping that highway safe, keeping your family safe while we all share the road together. The men and women behind the wheels of their big rigs today not only demand that they themselves drive safe, but when they come across a dangerous trucker, they have learned many different safe ways to work on getting that dangerous trucker off the road themselves. Simply put, safe and legal truckers understand that dangerous truckers must be removed from the highways.
We as truckers no longer wait around for someone else to do the dirty work of removing bad drivers from the road but instead when safe to do so, pick up a phone, make a video, write stories, do radio shows, many, many different things working to support safer highways.
Here at HeadTrucker.com we hope to support the activities of all those truckers that are standing up and working toward a much safer trucking industry. Standing up for those drivers that handle their rigs every day in a professional manner. We want to finds ways to get the word out that we safe and legal truckers are here to stay. To let the world know that as a team, meaning every driver of every vehicle on that highway, we can make a difference, we can keep our highways safe as we share them together.
